Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication adds a second step to your login process, making it much harder for someone to access your account without your permission.
Available methods
- Authenticator app (recommended) — use apps like Google Authenticator or Authy.
- SMS — receive a code via text message.
Setup steps
- Go to Settings > Security > Two-factor authentication.
- Choose your preferred method.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup.
- Save your backup codes in a safe place.
