How to delete your account

Deleting your account

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your posts, messages, and data will be permanently removed after a 30-day grace period.

Before you delete

• Download a copy of your data from Settings > Your Data > Download archive.
• Cancel any active subscriptions.
• Consider deactivating instead if you might return.

Steps

1. Go to Settings > Account.
2. Scroll to the bottom and select Delete account.
3. Enter your password to confirm.
4. Click Permanently delete.

You have 30 days to reactivate by logging back in. After that, deletion is irreversible.
